About the Program

BWP is partnering with Flume Water and the Metropolitan Water District to provide no-cost Flume devices after rebate (excluding tax) for a limited time and while supplies last.

What Does Flume’s Smart Water Monitor Do?

Flume’s Smart Home Water Monitor & Leak Detector is an easy DIY 10-minute install and provides:

  • Usage Targets: Suggested daily, weekly, and monthly use targets to help you cap consumption and save on water bills.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, you must:

  1. Be a BWP account holder
  2. Live in a Single Family Residence
  3. Install the Flume device at the address where you receive your BWP service
  4. A Wi-Fi Connection (and a known password) and a Smart Phone are required.
  5. Offer is limited to one Flume device per water account while supplies last.

You must also provide your BWP account number as part of the purchase process to verify eligibility.

To claim the No cost flume offer, follow these steps:

  1. Visit City of Burbank Water and Power - Flume to redeem this offer.
  2. Enter your name, email, and BWP account number when prompted. BWP account numbers are in your water bill's upper right-hand corner.
  3. Accept the Terms and Conditions.
  4. Purchase the Flume device for $200 (plus tax).
  5. Apply for a $200 refund at SoCal Water$mart

  6. Flume will ship the device directly to you. 

Note: To redeem this offer, you must purchase the Flume device via City of Burbank Water and Power - Flume. To receive a $200 rebate, you must apply for the rebate on or before Feb 28th, 2025
