Burbank Water and Power is converting the citywide electric distribution system from a 4000-volt system to a more efficient 12000-volt system. The final step in this process is to convert the local feed to the 12 kV substation circuit. See map here for a scheduled power outage for approximately three hours, between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Residents impacted by the outage have been notified in writing.
